Time is also allocated for sticking, and imaginary play with a wealth of dressing up clothes.
The children’s fine motor skills are developed by providing clay and modeling dough, scissors for cutting, sand and water for measuring and pouring.
These also help develop self expression and good language development.
Music sessions include performing, dancing, singing songs from different cultures and experimenting with multi cultural instruments.
The weekly cookery sessions relate to the month’s topic, such as farm animal biscuits, boys and girls gingerbread biscuits and moon shaped biscuits for Eid. The children proudly take their cooking home. Photos are taken during the sessions and used for sequencing activities.
